OGC commences Dolphin gas supply to the Sultanate

OGC which is executed by OGC would be the largest gas project to be built in Al-Buraimi area. The project consists of 3 gas turbine driven compression trains to transport the gas into OGC’s pipeline network to Sohar via Mahdha. The EPC was executed by Gulf Petrochemical Services and was commissioned and is operated by Omani specialists hence giving Omani Companies and Omani workforce the opportunity to develop their capabilities in non conventional gas transportation projects. This gas will supplement gas produced locally by PDO, Occidental and PTTEP which OGC delivers to power, desalination and industrial complexes. Furthermore, OGC is also in the process of installing another Compression Station in Fahud area that would enhance the pressure and flow regimes of the gas transmission facilities.
