Integrity is of an extreme significance for the company due its requirement to minimize the impact of failure on the public and the environment and to avoid disruptions to operations. The need for integrity management programme has been totally realized and being applied to both new lines and older systems. An intelligent inspection contract awarded for major campaign of all operating pipelines of OGC. This will ensure the integrity of the pipelines and requirements of any repair/rehabilitation in future. Major protection provided to the affected portion of the 20” Izki Al Ghubrah gas line caused by the abnormal climatic conditions occurred at June 2007 in order to avoid any risk to the population. Cathodic Protection (CP) level of all pipelines were maintained at 100 %.This will further enhance the safe and long lasting of the pipelines.

At mid of 2008 condition monitoring team was formed to monitor the rotating equipments for Al Buraimi, Fahud and Nimr compressor stations.
