Quality Policy
Oman Gas Company S.A.O.C is committed to:
- The quality of its services and the continual improvement of the effectiveness of its Quality Management System (QMS).
- The supply of reliable & uninterrupted natural gas to its customers’ utmost satisfaction.
To achieve this, we will:
- Identify the needs and expectations of the customers.
- Develop & provide resources to bring the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001:2000.
- Comply with relevant regulations of the sultanate and all documentation system requirements of the company.
- Manage gas transportation facilities integrity to maximize and prolong its lifecycle & ability to meet present and future delivery demands.
- Maintain close contact with customers on issues affecting them like gas supply and system integrity.
- Train employees on the use & implementation of the QMS documentation system.
- Conduct audits & inspections and take corrective & preventive actions.
- Insist that quality is a line responsibility and quality control aspects shall be implemented by line managers and supervisors.
- Ensure that commitment to quality remains fundamental and paramount to all aspects of the business.
- Develop & Maintain good working relationships with government agencies, client & customer representatives, natural gas suppliers and contractors.

Commitment
Oman Gas Company S.A.O.C (OGC) will perform all activities pertaining to Gas Transportation Facilities and Hydrocarbon Infrastructure Constructions with the commitment to:
- Provide a healthy work environment for all employees to conduct their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide training to all employees to ensure they understand the hazards and the appropriate controls including policies, procedures and practices.
- Ensure a safe workplace for all employees and others who are directly or indirectly under the sphere of influence of OGC.
- Protect the environment by minimizing the impact of our day to day activities related to Gas Transportation Facilities and Hydrocarbon Infrastructure Constructions.
- Foster a workplace-environment where continual improvement and learning from our mistakes is embraced by all OGC employees.
- Abide by the Royal Decrees, Ministerial Decisions and other requirements to which OGC subscribes.
- Monitor Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance by utilizing Audits, Inspections and Management Reviews with the active participation of all employees.
- Meet or exceed our HSE objectives.
- Communicate HSE Policy to interested parties and make it available to public.
Principles
We will achieve this by applying the following principles:
- HSE protection forms an integral part of our business and it is given priority in all decisions and activities.
- HSE protection is the fundamental responsibility of all employees.
- Managing work activities while considering HSE is a Line Management responsibility.
- All accidents are preventable.
- Each employee is responsible for his / her own safety and the safety of others.
