Oman Gas Company has a stringent Quality policy in place and ascertains its implementation across the organisation.

OGC is committed to:

  • The quality of service and the continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • The supply of reliable and uninterrupted natural gas to the utmost satisfaction of our customers.

To achieve our commitment we will:

  • Identify the needs and expectations of the customers
  • Develop and provide resources to bring the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001:2008
  • Comply with relevant regulations of the Sultanate
  • Manage gas transportation facilities integrity to maximise its lifecycle and ability to meet present and future delivery needs
  • Maintain close contact with customers on issues affecting them like gas supply and system integrity
  • Train employees on the use of QMS documentation system
  • Conduct audits and take corrective and preventive actions
  • Insist that quality is a line responsibility to be implemented by line managers and supervisors
  • Ensure commitment to quality in all aspects of the business
  • Develop and Maintain good working relationships with government agencies, client and customer representatives, natural gas suppliers and contractors.

Our HSE Policy

Health, Safety and Environment is an integral part of our operations and is the fundamental responsibility of all employees who are trained to prevent accidents and are in charge of universal safety standards.

OGC is committed to:

  • Provide a healthy work environment for all employees to conduct their roles and responsibilities
  • Provide training to all employees to ensure they understand the hazards and the appropriate controls
  • Ensure a safe workplace for all employees and others who are directly or indirectly under the sphere of influence of OGC
  • Protect the environment by minimising the impact of our day to day activities related to Gas Transportation Facilities and Hydrocarbon Infrastructure Construction
  • Foster an environment where continuous improvement and learning from our mistakes is embraced
